FWRF-009 Hiroshi Sato selected by PoLoGod.- Yamate Hotel / Bad Junkie Blues

Keyboardist Hiroshi Sato's 2nd album "TIME" was released in 1977 and continues to be highly acclaimed around the world for his albums "AWAKENING" and "ORIENT". The 7-inch title "Yamate Hotel c/w Bad Junkie Blues", released as a pre-release promo single and now considered a rare record, has finally been reissued as a regular release with new artwork as a PoLoGod. (MOUSOU PAGER) selection!!
SIDE A "Yamate Hotel" is a mellow sophisticated soul/reggae superb song that starts with beautiful synth work, with lyrics by Takashi Matsumoto and percussion by Nobu Saito. It is a great double side with SIDE B "Bad Junkie Blues", a Japanese funk with a New Orleans funk-flavored arrangement that has been praised by Haruomi Hosono and others.
