Artist Profile:
Formed in 1979 under the name "SKUNK" with Yamamoto Keisuke at the center, they made their single debut in 1980 with "Lovely Night". The following year they changed their name to "PIPER" and released the album "I'M NOT IN LOVE". Initially, the band consisted of five members: Yamamoto, Shima Takashi, Hikita George, Kumaki Yoshiyuki, and Oshima Hiroshi, but from 1983's "Summer Breeze" they became a three-member group. After several member changes, Yamamoto Keisuke's younger brother Kosuke joined the band for their fifth album "LOVERS LOGIC" in 1985. After that, they went on hiatus. In 2018, they resumed regular live performances, taking advantage of the album's first CD release and US release. In 2023, they will release their first best album "Piper Cool Selection".
